Nell Tantillo
1920-2014
Giovina “Nell” Tantillo of Claremont Council #1655, Bronx New York passed away on January 16, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of the Bronx and lived the past few years in Bronxville. Nell was an active member and officer of the Royal Arcanum. A past regent of her council, she was a Grand Committeewoman, Supreme Representative and DSA recipient. Nell enjoyed attending Supreme Council sessions and mini vacations and made many lasting friendships at these fraternal gatherings. She devoted countless hours of volunteer service to parish organizations in her church. Her generosity and dedication to charitable causes was constant. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony W.W. Tantillo , sister of Ann (Frank) Caruso and friend to all who had been blessed to know her.
May she rest in eternal peace.

Lena Parlato
1923-2014
Lena “Lee” Parlato, member of San Jose Council # 2384 passed away on April 3, 2014 at the age of ninety. A native of San Jose, her career as a sales department manager spanned more than twenty years. Lee served The Royal Arcanum as Regent of Twin Peaks Council #2401, held several offices in the California Grand Council, was a Supreme Representative and earned the Distinguished Service Award with three diamonds. She was extremely involved in the fraternal programs which were coordinated by the councils and was instrumental in organizing
their charitable and community service activities.
Embodying the fraternal spirit of helping others, Lee was a fervent volunteer at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Italian Catholic Federation, Martha’s Kitchen and Ladies Guild. She tirelessly handcrafted blankets for projects sponsored for newborns in need. She dedicated her life to family and expressed her joy through love of cooking, baking and preserving family traditions. The values of compassion and kindness she lovingly instilled in her family through her example of service, always with a smile.
Lee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Parlato ; daughter, Jeannie O’Neill and sons, Robert and Frank Parlato. She is survived by her son-in-law, James O’Neill, grandchildren Terri (John) McDermott, Chris (Michele) O’Neill, great grandchildren, Jacob and Will McDermott , Mark and Gabrielle O’Neill and many relatives and friends.
May everlasting peace be hers.
